Mr Kanapathipillai Sittambalam was born in Colombo, Srilanka; lived in Warwick, England and passed away peacefully on 03 September 2025 after a brief illness.

Sitta was the eldest son of late Mr and Mrs Sittambalam; son-in-law of late Mr and Mrs Thanigasalam; beloved husband of Panumathy; loving father of Ravi Sanjayan and Ragu Naveenan; father-in-law of Joy and Jenny; and grandfather of Bella,Amelie, Syon and Kian.

He was the loving brother of Sivagnanasundaram (Sydney), late Selvanayaki (Selvi) (Colombo), Balasundaram (Colombo), late Dr Rajasundaram (UK), Kumarasundaram (USA), Sivanayaki (UK) and Sathianayaki (UK) and brother-in-law of Bhaskari (Sydney), Sirikananathan (Cololmbo), Parama (Colombo), Maharani (UK), Nilamini (USA), Sanmugarajah (UK), Gangatharan (UK), Ranji (UK), Sriskantharajah (Chennai), Anusuya (Jaffna), Kanthi (UK), Muruganandam (UK), Sakthivel (UK) and Manohari (Canada).

The funeral service which is open to all will be held at the Gap Community Centre, 39 Oakwood Grove, Warwick CV34 5TD on 12 September 2025 between 1 and 2:30 pm.

The cremation will occur afterwards privately
