It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Arumugam Shanmuganathan on 04 August 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Seremban, Malaysia he lived a rich and fulfilling life in Kopay, Sri Lanka and the UK High Wycombe.

He was a cherished son of late Arumugam and late Atputham and son-in law of late Puyapala Rasan and late Pathmawathy.

Devoted husband of Rajini.

Loving father of Niraja and Vanaja.

Beloved father-in-law of Scott Fletcher and Toby Greenwood.

Adored grandfather of Rosalie, Lilia, George, and Ana.

Dearest brother of Parameswary(Canada), Pathmawathy(Canada), late Pakianathan(UK), late Paramanathan(Canada), Maheswaran(UK), late Kuganathan(UK) and Gnaneswary(Canada).

Caring brother-in- law of late Ameradeva(Canada), late Kunanesan(Canada), Athisayarmalar(UK), Manonmani(Canada), Ranji(UK), Jeyamurali(Canada), Pamini, Siva-Kumar(UK), Pathmajan, Urmila(UK), late Pakiajan(UK).

He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.
