Mrs Dorothy Infanta Abraham

Mrs. Dorothy Abraham, affectionately known as Bobby beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, was born in Jaffna, Sri Lanka. She lived in Wattala, Sri Lanka, Dubai, and Toronto, Canada. It is with great sadness we announce our beloved matriarch passed away at the age of 93 on Tuesday February 4th, 2025. She departed her long and rich life peacefully and with grace, surrounded by her loving family, prayers and hymns.

She was the cherished daughter of the late Anthonypillai and Elizabeth Sebastian.

Loving daughter-in-law of the late Lawrence and Agnes Abraham.

She was the devoted wife of the late Reter Francis Abraham.

A beloved mother to Suresh Abraham(Canada), Shamala Emmanuel(Canada), Manjula Niranjan(Norway), and Premila Sigmaringam(Canada).

She was also a caring and supportive mother-in-law to Inparathy Abraham, Navarajah Emmanuel, Lawrence Niranjan, and Reginold Sigmaringam.

She was a loving sister to the late Blossum Aloysius, Eddie Sebastian, Joyce Abraham, and her surviving siblings Pancy Rajanayagam, and Juliet Patrick, and a dear sister-in-law to the late Aloysius, late Dr. Canute Abraham, Immaculate Sebastian, Arul Rajanayagam, and late Patrick Sylvester, and beloved sister-in-law to the late Rasu Abraham, Kennedy Abraham and Anton Abraham.

She was a proud and loving grandmother to Nisha Emil, Niru Zimmer, Nithya Abraham, Jonathan Sigmaringam, Andrew Sigmaringam, Patrick Niranjan, Anjali Abraham and Christopher Niranjan.

She was doting great-grandmother to Dante, Eric, Adriana, Eli, Heiydan, Ryana, and James Francis.

சுரேஸ் ஏபிரகாம்(கனடா), சியாமளா இமானுவல்(கனடா), மஞ்சுளா நிரஞ்சன்(நோர்வே), பிரமிளா சிக்மாறிங்கம்(கனடா) ஆகியோரின் அன்புத் தாயாரும்,

நிஷா எமில் , நிரு சிமர் , நித்தியா எபிரகாம் , ஜொனத்தன் சிக்மாறிங்கம் , அன்ரூ சிக்மாறிங்கம், பற்றிக் நிரஞ்சன் , அஞ்சலி எபிரகாம், கிறிஸ்தோபர் நிரஞ்சன் ஆகியோரின் அன்புப் பேத்தியும்,

டான்டே, எரிக், ஏடிரியானா, ஈலாய், ஹெய்டன், ரியானா,ஜேம்ஸ் பிரான்சிஸ் ஆகியோரின் பாசமிகு பூட்டியும் ஆவார்.
