Dr. Vaithilingam Ruthireswaran, born in Ariyalai, Jaffna, Sri Lanka, and who resided in Ariyalai, Jaffna, and Colombo, Sri Lanka, passed away peacefully on 17 October 2026.

He was the beloved son of the late Vaithilingam and the late Mohanambihai, beloved son-in-law of the late Thillaiampalam and the late Packiyaluxmi.

Loving Nephew of the late Sellathurai.

Loving husband and lifelong companion of Logapavani.

Devoted father of Kiruban and Tharmini.

Beloved father-in-law of Udhayarani and Umaselvan.

Dearest grandfather of Karthik, Atchuthan, Adithya and Ridhi.

Dear brother of the late Maheswaran; beloved cousin of Ambalavanar.

Beloved brother-in-law of Gowri, Sivagnaneswary, the late Shanmugam, the late Kokilavani, Ganeshamohan, Dushyanthy, Jeganmohan, Sahila, Kiritharamohan and Vasanthi.

He will be deeply missed by all his relatives, friends and extended family.
